Although there are many reasons why you might choose an extra height building, such as for large gym equipment or workshop use, predominantly they are the perfect solution for anyone who owns a 4×4 vehicle, van or caravan, and wants to garage it for security or weather reasons.

Extra height buildings come in three sizes which are 7’0″, 7’6″, and 8’0″. Each size comes with matching door heights to accommodate your requirements, but you must allow for the thickness of the door when open, so a 7’0″ high building will have a clearance of approximately 6’8″ through the door and the same applies to the other heights respectively.

Extra height can be applied to all buildings and all specifications of our buildings range, so if you want an Elite double extra high building, then that is perfectly possible. Same goes for sheds and workshops. On many instances we have installed extra height workshops for clients with large machinery.

Although our buildings are mainly used for domestic purposes, there are time when clients wish to use them for commercial reasons, and extra height buildings are a good solution because roller shutter doors can be easily accommodated in the eaves space
