Case study 2 – Bill Maltby
Was told by other garage manufacturers “this cannot be done!”

Bill emailed us on the 8th of July 2009 with a request for a building that he’d previously been told by other manufacturers could not or would not be possible!
He wanted to erect a sectional building, but using his existing front brick wall as the front face of the building.
We requested a plan of his idea, and on the 10th of July, Bill emailed it to us. We could clearly see why other concrete garage manufacturers had dismissed his idea, but we decided to look into this thoroughly and see if it was possible to do.
Our technical team decided that the only way for sure to check the buildings’ feasibility, was to visit the site, take some critical measurements and plan the construction of the building carefully.
We concluded that the construction of the building was certainly possible, but would need a timber filler-strip on the top of the wall after construction, which Bill happily offered to complete himself and eventually stain to match the rest of the timber work.
When it came to price, there were no excess charges placed on manufacturing the building, just a willingness to try and offer a solution to Bill’s requirements which we would like to think we offer to all of our clients.
